Unsalted (That's our clever name for our blog)
August 31: del.icio.us as a sales tool
Here's an idea if you've got a product/service you sell online. Watch the RSS feed of people who bookmark your site on del.icio.us (example page here, RSS link at the bottom). Each time someone bookmarks it, go find out who they are, check out their site, and email them personally to thank them for the bookmark and see if they have any questions about the product.
Fortunately, this process can't be automated (which is a good thing - no spam), so each email has to be written by hand, specifically for the recipient. It's time-consuming, but I think people would be impressed. I'm going to try it with SiteVista, anyway.
