Gapingvoid widget

Hugh MacLeod has just launched the widget I have been developing for him. It's pretty neat, and it just got linked on TechCrunch so hopefully quite a few people will install it on their blogs. We're working on TypePad and Wordpress versions to make it even easier to install, too.

Just wanted to let you know that the offset doesn't work perfectly with a mac - in safari. Most of it is off screen and always requires a readjustment. In firefox it doesn't get pushed off the screen, but to the edge.

Also, hate to be a dick, but with flickr you're supposed to link back to the flickr url when hotlinking images. Here are the community guidelines.

Cheers.

"Hate to be a dick," he lied.

;-)

I wasn't aware we were violating Flickr rules. If we are, we'll fix it. Thanks for the pointer.

Thanks for the heads up Christopher. Do you have a link where I could see the problem? For me (Safari on a Mac) it works ok, at least on the widget installation site.

Regarding Flickr, I've emailed them to discuss this, to make sure what we're doing is ok. Might need to adust it slightly, depending what they say - thanks for letting me know about that too.
