November 04: Marketing folk get ahold of RSS
Just got an email from RapidFeeds, telling me about RSS...
The online marketing world is rigorously seen chanting a 3-letter mantra, R-S-S.
Yes, RSS is here and it's got substance, material, style, sophistication...
In a word, it's got the 'X' factor.
It's almost as if they took the words right out of Dave Winer's mouth, don't you think?

Also, how can you "rigorously" chant something? And it's not "a word" it's four words.

What i think is, rigorously chanting a mantra explains how the marketing world is raving about RSS... Dont think it should be taken that literally... Besides that I feel they tried to sum up RSS in one word by saying its got the X factor, something which cant be defined. Dont think that last sentence refers to the previous four words mentioned... But yeah must admit, the above statement has surely got the 'X' factor to it... or else, dont think you'd be quoting it in the first place...lol.
